Fees for Each Location

Cash App Fee:

Every in-store cash deposit includes a flat $1 processing fee, automatically deducted from your deposit. This fee applies per transaction, regardless of the deposit amount.

It’s waived if you receive $300 or more in qualifying direct deposits within a month.

Retailer Fees:

In addition to Cash App’s $1 fee, some retailers charge their own service fee, typically $1 to $4 per transaction. The amount is fixed, not percentage-based.

  • Walgreens usually charges no additional fee, meaning you only pay the $1 Cash App charge.
  • Walmart, 7-Eleven, CVS, and similar chains often add a small $3–$4 surcharge per deposit.
  • Dollar stores (such as Family Dollar or Dollar General) may or may not charge an additional fee depending on location and amount.

In short: expect a $1 Cash App fee, plus any flat store-specific surcharge when applicable. Always confirm the total before completing your deposit.
